Mentor Graphics (formerly Summit Design)
MathStar and Summit Design partnered to develop a design flow using Visual
Elite to create designs for MathStar's FPOA technology. The
integration of MathStar libraries into Visual Elite enables designers to
leverage the productivity and ease-of-use of SystemC ESL tools while targeting
their designs at MathStar's revolutionary new family of Field Programmable
Object Arrays (FPOAs).
For more information, please see partnership announcement MathStar and Summit Design Release Visual Elite SystemC Libraries Targeting The Revolutionary FPOA Technology.
In October 2006, Mentor Graphics announced an agreement to acquire the assets of Summit, whose products complement Mentor's family of ESL products. Mentor announced it plans to continue to develop Summit products and does not anticipate any changes to planned Visual Elite product releases.
